What is HealthWorx?

HealthWorx was founded with the premise for seamless connection with your primary care physician. It is designed around a member’s need and supports the member in all aspects of their healthcare. We use an innovative process involving memberships which provides unparalleled customer service above and beyond a traditional primary care practice. We will utilize technology to its full extent to deliver safe and reliable care in a timely manner. Your HealthWorx primary care provider (PCP) will be by your side and be your advocate to navigate the ever evolving and complicated maze of health care. We are primary care at YOUR convenience. We have various services on site and as we grow, we will continue to add more services to provide comprehensive care at your convenience. Your PCP is your first point of contact, but if specialty consultation, hospitalization, or post hospital care is needed, we will help navigate and guide you through every step.

How is HealthWorx different?

Our process revolves around you. Being a member of HealthWorx allows you seamless connection to your healthcare provider unlike the traditional practice. We take whatever time is necessary to address your issues during an appointment. Our goal is to schedule you for appointments, when necessary, as soon as possible, and hopefully within 24 hours. We will utilize technology at our disposal to help improve efficiency as well. We take the time to get to know you and your health issues. Our goal is to provide timely reliable primary care service, and to be your long-term health care advocates helping you navigate complex medical decisions. Being a member allows our providers to spend much more time with you to address complex medical problems without rushing. As we grow, we will add more services to provide you with more comprehensive care.

What is a subscription based primary care physician model?

A monthly subscription fee directly paid by the member/patient to HealthWorx; helps us to offer services as included in membership fee. The subscription fee is not a covered benefit under health insurance plans. Our membership fee is not a health insurance plan. Our membership fee cannot be submitted to your insurance for reimbursement.

Do I need insurance if I am a member of HealthWorx?

The short answer is yes. Our monthly subscription fee will be directly paid by the member to HealthWorx. Healthcare insurance is still needed for diagnostic studies, hospitalization, specialty care, and other health care costs.

What if I need to go to the hospital?

You may choose to go to any hospital in the area. We will work with your hospital care team, coordinate care and help provide guidance and decision making. Our goal, however, is to reduce urgent care, ER visits, and hospitalization where appropriate. Regardless of where you are getting your care outside of our office, we will help guide you through any treatments or diagnostic processes you need. We will also help coordinate post hospitalization care if needed. Our goal is to stay in touch with you and guide you through every aspect of health care.

What if I become a member and later not satisfied with the care?

Our goal is to provide you with the best possible care and tend to your every healthcare need. Your care is our passion, and your good health is our priority. If we fail to meet your expectations, membership cannot be canceled in the first 3 months, but after 3 months, can cancel any time before the monthly renewal date.

What insurance plans do you accept?

We ONLY charge cash for non-covered services, which are framed as routine exams detached from medical necessity and related communications. Our services are billed directly to our members. We have a transparent fee structure which is very affordable.
